About the Artist

Beth Siow-Deutsawe draws the inspiration for the jewelry, beadwork and artwork she creates from her Laguna, Hopi, and Mescalero Apache heritage. Using a diverse range of specially selected materials, she integrates a contemporary flair with the traditional style to create her jewelry. Beth uses materials such as turquoise, coral, freshwater pearls, shell, Czechoslovakian crystal, and Swarovski crystal, to name a few, and finishes each piece with sterling silver findings. Not only adept at creating wearable art, Beth also produces fine beadwork, drawings and paintings in diverse mediums. She resides in the village of Seama on the Laguna Pueblo.
